Join Gilman scholars, alumni, and staff on Friday, May 6th at 3 PM EST for a networking event discussing the various issues concerning civil and human rights that exist today. Hosted by Gilman Alumni Ambassador I’yanna Barker, this networking event will provide a space for attendees interested in or currently working in the non-profit/social justice field to examine how their time abroad has influenced their decision to work in this sector.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn of different community initiatives that exist to support the work being done in this field.
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and supported in its implementation by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
