Gilman advisors are invited to apply to attend one of two in-person Gilman Advisor Workshops being hosted by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Rutgers University-Camden in 2025 and 2026. Each workshop will accommodate up to 50 Gilman campus advisors with varying levels of familiarity and experience with the Gilman Program. The purpose of each workshop is to build a network with fellow Gilman advisors and learn best practices for supporting Gilman applicants, recipients, and alumni on campus. The cost to attend one of these workshops including travel, meals, and hotel accommodation will be covered by the Gilman Program with funding provided by the U.S. Department of State through an annual appropriation from Congress.
