Thirteen Western Kentucky University (WKU) students were awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship and two were designated alternates to study abroad in Summer 2019.
The Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) at WKU serves the WKU community by engaging students, faculty and staff in diverse, educational and cultural experiences through faculty-led, exchange, consortia, and other study abroad opportunities. According to WKU News, students worked with staff in the Office of Scholar Development and the Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning to prepare their applications and find the best academic program abroad to fit their goals.
Congratulations to WKU and the new Gilman scholars!
